Traditional Sausage Fair in Monchique 2012

During the 1st weekend of March starting on Saturday the 3rd and Sunday the 4th March in the Municipal Heliport in Monchique will take place once again the Traditional Sausage Fair on Monchique 2012

Don´t miss it, come taste and to buy sausages made to traditional recipes handed down through the generations. The festival is a great draw for locals and visitors who come to sample a slice of Monchique life with sausages, handicrafts and liqueurs all on sale, and entertainment put on for visitors on each day, with show Luke and Matthew, on Saturday at 9:30pm and on Sunday at 7pm Generations with Monica Sintra, Ana and Nucha.

This festival gets very busy so be prepared for the crowds and take the first parking space you find! If you are not sure where the fair is then just follow the throngs of people as they head to the heliport.
